My Meshtastic Nodes

Short Name Long Name Hardware Type Firmware Version Device Role Frequency Details
TC01 Blimey, it's [twat.city]! T-Beam V1.1 2.5.15 Client 868mhz

Stationary node with an internal antenna mounted in the attic. This node has an elevation of 75m. In the near future, I want to raise and mount the antenna outdoors.

TC02 Stan, Man of [twat.city] Heltec V3 2.5.18 Client 868mhz

A spare node that I keep laying around at home. This and TC03 were the first Meshtastic devices which I purchased.

TC03 Stan, [twat.city] man Heltec V3 2.5.18 Client 868mhz

A spare node that I keep laying around at home. This and TC02 were the first Meshtastic devices which I purchased.

TC04 Stan, mayor of [twat.city] Heltec Wireless Paper 2.5.18 Client 868mhz

Another spare node. I only bought this because I was interested in the low-power draw of an e-ink display. This device isn't really used.

TC05 Blimey, it's [twat.city] solar! Heltec T114 2.5.18 Client 868mhz

My first, experimental, standalone node which I hope to place somewhere remote to help build up the mesh. It consists of 2x 18650 batteries and a 3v solar panel. The T114 has power-saving in operation. This T114 doesn't have a screen.

TC06 Blimey, it's sun-powered [twat.city]! Heltec T114 2.5.18 Client 868mhz

The second, experimental, standalone node. This is identical to TC05, but with a different antenna placement thanks to the solar panel being fitted to the front of the housing instead of on the top. This T114 doesn't have a screen.

TC07 Blimey, [twat.city] runs off light! Heltec T114 2.5.18 Client 868mhz

The third, experimental, standalone node. This is similar to TC06, but is housed in a rectangular box instead of a square box. I found that this allowed for easier placement of the batteries and wiring. This T114 doesn't have a screen.

TC10 Stan, decked in [twat.city] LilyGo T-Deck Plus 2.5.19 Client_Mute 868mhz

The obvious choice for a standalone Meshtastic device. This one has a black keyboard and the nice UI. I've modified it by installing an external antenna.

TC11 Stan, double-decked in [twat.city] LilyGo T-Deck Plus 2.5.19 Client_Mute 868mhz

This one has a white keyboard and the nice UI. I've modified it by installing an external antenna.

TC12 Stan, decking the halls of [twat.city] LilyGo T-Deck Plus 2.5.19 Client_Mute 868mhz

Yes, another T-Deck Plus. This one has a white keyboard and the nice UI. I've modified it by installing an external antenna. The touchscreen doesn't work properly on this, but the device is still usable.

TC13 Blimey, Stan's left [twat.city] Heltec T114 2.5.18 Client 868mhz

This node is permanently installed in my car with the intention of providing an extra link between nodes when I'm out and about.

TC14 Blimey, [twat.city] makes sense Seeed Studio SenseCap 2.5.19 Client_Mute 868mhz

Obviously, I had to get hold of one of these. I've flashed it with the nice UI and replaced the external antenna with an internal one.

TC15 Blimey, it's a [twat.city] T114! Heltec T114 2.5.18 Client 868mhz

This was formerly TC06, which was replaced by a T114 with no screen.

TC16 Blimey, it's another [twat.city] T114! Heltec T114 2.5.18 Client 868mhz

This was formerly TC05, which was replaced by a T114 with no screen.

TC51 Blimey, it's [twat.city] on 433! Heltec T114 2.5.18 Client 433mhz

Curious to see what's nearby on 433mhz, I thought I'd give this a go. This T114 doesn't have a screen.

TC52 Blimey, it's more [twat.city] on 433! Heltec T114 2.5.18 Client 433mhz

You can't only have one node on a particular frequency, otherwise you wouldn't even be able to speak to yourself. This T114 doesn't have a screen.

More nodes will be added soon.
